May God’s peace and Blessings be with you all. Our kids and grandchildren were here from Arizona, Duluth, MN, and Iowa. I felt so Blessed to have my family around me. I do, however, remember a Christmas forty-one years ago. I had lost my husband and my children’s father in late October of that year. I struggled and put on a brave face through all the activities. When we finally got home, I fell apart. So, for all who have lost a loved one or spent the days alone, I can relate. It hurts. Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for sustaining me through all the pain and difficulties in my life. Help me to draw closer to you each day. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen. Psalm 147:3, 6. But God is near the brokenhearted and the lonely. He binds up our wounds. He sustains the poor but casts the wicked to the ground.
