Pondering Thoughts of My Soul

Laughter is good medicine and a gift from God, and God loves a merry heart.  Once, when I was getting ready for work, a popular Christian song played over and over in my head for several minutes.  When I got into the car to drive to work, I turned on the radio, and that song was playing.  I laughed!  I knew that God had planned that surprise for me.  God is comical and loves to put a smile on our faces.  Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of laughter and Your desire to please us.  Remind us to smile daily for others to see and bring joy to their hearts.  Give us a heart full of gladness no matter what our circumstances are.  Thank You, Lord.  In Jesus name, I pray.  Amen.  Proverbs 17:22. “A joyful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones.”
