Pondering Thoughts of My Soul

Remember the Bible verse, “What profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his soul?”  I have pondered on that verse for years.   It is so true!  Is it worth it to have all the wealth, power, and prestige in this world but end up burning in the fires of hell?  Absolutely not.  Keep your eyes on God and things from above.  Trust God.  Seek to do His will, and God will lead you on the right path.  Dear Heavenly Father, help me to serve you in all aspects of my life.  Help me serve the poor, the lonely, the sick, the imprisoned, and all oppressed.  Give me a righteous heart that I may serve you always.  In Jesus name, I pray.  Amen.  Joshua 24:15. “If it does not please you to serve the Lord, decide today whom you will serve.  As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
