Pondering Thoughts of My Soul

In creation, God first said, “Let there be light.”  And there was light.God saw how good the light was.  Then God separated the light from the dark and called the light “day” and the darkness he called “night.”  God calls us to be light in the darkness.  We are called to shine our light on the world by our love, kindness, and good deeds for one another.  All of this is to give glory to God.  Dear Heavenly Father, please help your people shine their lights worldwide.  Help us to be a beacon of hope for all mankind.  Help us to turn from darkness and sin to live as you have commanded.  In Jesus name, I pray.  Amen.  1 John 1:7: “But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, then we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of his Son, Jesus, cleanses us from all sin.”
