Pondering Thoughts of My Soul

When we become Christians, the Holy Spirit comes into our lives to guide us and teach us God’s truths. We need to have our spiritual ears open to hear the voice of God.  During prayer, I have often asked God to direct me in an important decision.  God may not answer me that day, but soon, I will hear the inaudible voice of God.  He lets me know which way to go.  About six weeks ago, I was feeling sick in my stomach and my bowels.  I tried everything, but nothing seemed to help.  Then, on Facebook, I ran across an ad for these pills that would relieve my troubles.  I searched the Company and felt it was legitimate.  When I tried to order the pills (about $300 worth), the purchase would not go through.  I tried a second time, and still no success.  After that, I knew God was telling me NO.  God knew what was best for me in His infinite wisdom, and those pills weren’t it.  He directed me instead to foods that my body needed.  By changing my diet, the problem quickly subsided.  Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for opening our spiritual ears to hear Your voice.  Thank you for teaching us how to walk in Your ways.  Keep us from stumbling, dear Lord. Help us to watch and listen faithfully to Your voice.  In Jesus name, I pray.  Amen!  John 8:47. “Whoever belongs to God hears the words of God.”  John 10:27. “My sheep hear my voice; I know them, and they follow me.”
