Today, God’s Righteous Anger!

In the Bible, Jesus was righteously angry many times. The most prominent is when Jesus entered the temple area and drove out those selling and buying.  He angrily said, “My house shall be a house of prayer, but you are making it a den of thieves.”  The Bible also says, “Be angry, but do not sin.”  That means don’t let your anger be a foothold for the devil.  Anger can be extremely dangerous and turn into sinful anger.  A quick-tempered man does foolish things.  The sin is not the anger but the manifestation of anger.  Dear Heavenly Father, please help me control myself in times of anger.  Do not let my anger lead to sin.  Help me to be patient, loving, and understanding in all matters.  In Jesus’ name, I pray.  Amen.  James 1: 19-20. “Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God
