Pondering Thoughts of My Soul

When I say do not comply, I mean do not comply to the devil’s tricks.  Satan has corrupted man from the very beginning with Adam & Eve in the Garden of Eden.  He knows when we have sinned and takes advantage of that through blackmail and fear.  He is the Accuser.  He tortures our souls by placing condemning thoughts in our minds.  He has all the dirt on us.  He plays the blame game, the shame game, the unworthy game and puts fear into our hearts that someone may discover the truth about us.  He constantly throws a guilt trip upon us to make us forget that there is forgiveness.  But the Lord says He is eager for our repentance and awaits our confession of sin so He can forgive us.  Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for forgiving our sins and providing us a way out of the devil’s clutches.  Remind us to trust You exclusively.  Remind us to speak: ‘Satan be gone’ so he will flee.  Help keep our minds focused on You alone.  In Jesus’ name, I pray.  Amen.  Proverbs 28:13: “He who covers his transgressions will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes his sins will obtain mercy.
