Today, Rejoice and Praise God!

I remember the parable Jesus told about a man who had 100 sheep but lost one. He left the 99 to go after the lost one. When he found it, he laid it on his own shoulders, rejoicing. When he got home, he summoned his friends and neighbors, telling them to rejoice with him because he had found the lost sheep.  That is how I feel today.  I have been missing some jewelry for about a year.  It was four pairs of earrings, some of my favorites, a necklace with matching earrings, and my silver cross necklace.  I have been praying, asking the Lord to help me find them.  I’ve also prayed to St. Anthony of Padua, the patron saint of lost articles.  I am praising God and rejoicing over my lost jewelry today.  It has been found. What a good God we have!  If God could care about some missing jewelry, think about how much He cares about us.  Dear Heavenly Father, I praise You and thank You for giving me back my lost jewelry.  Your praise will ever be in my mouth.  Thank you, Lord, for all the blessings You have given me throughout my life.  Keep me close to you, Lord.  In Jesus’ name, I pray.  Amen.  Psalm 150:6: “Let everything that has breath and every breath of life praise the Lord.  Praise the Lord!  Hallelujah
