Pondering Thoughts of My Soul

Today, I both see and hear the corruption in the world.  Governments are corrupt, including our own.  So much hatred and violence in all nations.  War, child sex trafficking, murder, theft, plots, and schemes for evil.  What must God think of all this?  God says no man or nation should be corrupt.  God persuades the wicked to turn away from sin, to stop conforming to this world, and to be transformed in their hearts.   They are given many chances to repent and change their lives.  The devil has done a great job of causing confusion, chaos, and distractions.  That is his job: to deceive, distract, and destroy God’s people.  Don’t let Satan get a foothold in your life.  We must turn back to God, while we can and receive His forgiveness.  Dear Heavenly Father, forgive the offenses of this nation and this world.  Turn our hearts toward You, Oh Lord, and bless our nation once again.  Be with Your people, Lord, and save us from eternal damnation.  In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.  2 Peter 1:4: “By which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.”
