Crisis befalls everyone during their lifetime. No one is immune from it. Sometimes God allows a crisis in our life to bring us closer to Him. Sadly, some will turn away completely from God, blaming God. God does not cause the crisis, but He can allow it. In times of trouble and fear, we need to humble ourselves, turn back to God, and pray. Seek God’s face always and trust in God with all your heart. Repent and turn from our wicked ways. Do not rely on your own insight. Imagine what the Israelites thought when Moses led them out of Egypt only to face a wall of water, the Red Sea. They had nowhere to go and Pharoah and his army were not far behind. But God!
God opened a pathway for them through the Red Sea, and Moses guided them to cross and reach the other side. God then closed the path, and Pharaoh and his army were killed. Trust God: He will protect His people. Dear Heavenly Father, we praise You and thank You for protecting us. Thank You, too, for pursuing us throughout our lives. Keep our eyes focused on You, Oh Lord, and the things of heaven. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen. Isaiah 41:10 “Fear not, I am with you; be not dismayed, I am your God. I will strengthen you, and help you, and uphold you with my right hand of justice.”
