Pondering Thoughts of My Soul

The Bible tells us that there is a heaven and a hell.  Hell was originally created for Satan and his fallen angels.  However, we were given free will by God, and our choices became ours.  For many years as a Christian, I feared death until I got to know God.  When I read the scriptures and prayed for wisdom, God took that fear away.  I began to trust God truly and to believe the truths written in the Bible.  God tells us to believe and receive His Word.  Choose Life!

Dear Heavenly Father, I praise You and thank You for the gift of eternal life.  We deserve nothing, yet You freely give us eternal life through Your Son, Jesus Christ, who paid for our sins on the cross.  Thank You for Your plan of salvation so that all people can choose eternal life.  Be with us always, Lord, and show us the way of truth.  In Jesus’ name, I pray.  Amen.  John 5:24: “Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.”
