Pondering Thoughts of My Soul

To fear the Lord does not mean to be afraid of Him.  It means to reverence Him, to have a deep respect and awe for God’s power and authority.  The Bible says fearing the Lord will give you wisdom, keep you from sin, and motivate you to evangelize.  Dear Heavenly Father, help us to always look to you for guidance.  Keep us focused on You alone.  Help us always have reverence and awe of You.  In Jesus’ name, I pray.  Amen.  Psalm 111:10: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever!”
