Pondering Thoughts of My Soul

What’s it like to be content?  It’s like freeing yourself from the burden of always wanting more.  For a time in my life, I was discontent.  I couldn’t make enough money to buy or do everything I wanted.  It was always more, more, more.  God showed me the error of my ways, and I learned to be happy in the now.  I am always grateful for what I have.  I am blessed to live in America.  I am so much better off than most people in the world.  Why did God choose me to live here and at this time?  Perhaps it is to share my contentment and joy in life.  Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for showing me my failures and helping me improve.  Please continue to show me how to make progress to be more Christ-like.  Thank you, Lord, for your continued guidance.  In Jesus’ name, I pray.  Amen.  Philippians 4: 11-12.  “For I have learned to be satisfied in whatever situation I find myself in.  I know how to live in humble circumstances and abundance.
