Pondering Thoughts of My Soul

Sometimes we need to slow down.  Our Christmas was wonderful, with three of our four kids home and all the grandchildren.  I had been extremely busy preparing for our celebration, and I must admit, I was exhausted.  But God, in His wisdom, knows when we need a rest.  I came down with a severe chest cold on December 30^th and am still not 100%.  But the rest I have gotten has restored and refreshed me.  God always knows what we need.  Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for the rest you have given me.  Thank you for your refreshment of my body and soul.  Help me always to acknowledge You in all matters of my life.  In Jesus name, I pray.  Amen!  Matthew 11:28. “Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.”
