Pondering Thoughts of My Soul

Loneliness isn’t always a negative emotion. Sometimes, loneliness takes us to deep places in our hearts and souls. We need the time to reflect and ponder our lives, our thoughts, and our purpose. We can’t do that in a crowd. Jesus often left the disciples and went off by himself to pray and draw near to God and seek God’s wise counsel.

We are never alone; we always have Jesus! Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for our friends and family who surround us with love. Thank You, too, for lonely times when we contemplate our need for You.  Please help us to keep a balance in our lives.  In Jesus’ name, I pray.  Amen.  Isaiah 41:10: “Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed. I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.”
